You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll find Richard Hammond just unnecessary. Don't worry though, he can't dim the joy you will earn by seeing person after person whacked in the face and covered in mud. It's like Gladiators on the Eastern Front; it's like Fun House's torture garden, but the weird thing is I want to be on it.

Sorry to be a bore? i do not how the BBC and endomol have got away with showing this "expensive " waste of tv programming???. I have more fun watching Takeshi castle and the other show about Ninjas with Stuart hall, than i do whilst Total Wipeout is on !!! Argentina?? why there? the very fact that the lack of supporters and the general public cheering on the players is missing does not help!! i expect that hammond and host and film crew and producers etc etc had a whale of a time flying out and probably living for a few weeks whilst filming took place?? what a waste. why not film it here in the UK? don't say that the weather is not good enough, surely that helps as we watch contestants slip up in the mud and the rain? What a shame !! a good idea gone to waste !! Bring back it's a knockout , Without frank bruno!!! get towns and the public involved go on play that joker!!!! PS it is you and i the tv licence payer that has payed for this little gem!!
Yeah, maybe you're right about some things. BUT, It's clear that Hammond is filmed off set in a studio at a later date, and I hear that most of the crew including the producer are from Argentina. On top of that, the whole "concept" of the show was sold to 17(?) countries around the world and I believe that all of them were filmed in Argentina on the same set.
I think it wound be alt better in a more ninja warior/takeshi's castle inside the gladiators stadium with someone alot more funny than Richard Hammond.
It simply couldnt happen in this country !! would never pass health and safety....
