but the thing about people having to vote for fear of reprisals... why aren't we doing something about this bastard?
if no one votes then the oposition can claim that all the non voters would have voted for them (v true) as the 1st election had record turn outs. But if people have to vote for the maniacal wanker then surely someone should step in and bash some heads together?
As a voter (sooo ironic) I would like our gov to do something about this instead of running around fighting for oil.

It’s a tricky one. These types of things are hard to deal with, but you can be sure that all is not going to turn out well whatever happens. That’s about all you can be sure about.
If he is, for whatever reason (that we all know), the sole remaining contender in the "run off" why are they bothering to hold it in the first place? So he can claim an outright victory or something?
